If you have answered YES to any of these questions, your system is probably fouled with iron oxide sludge and other debris, such as limescale, causing circulation problems.
The simple answer is a Power Flush.
A chemical cleaner is added to your system. A Power Flushing machine is then used to pump the chemically treated water around the system at high velocity but low pressure. This will loosen and mobilise the system debris which comes back to the machine, via a magnetic filter, and is pumped away to a drain. This is done one radiator at a time, to ensure as much debris as possible is removed from the system, with the minimum of disruption and mess normally associated with this kind of work.
Once completed, we add a chemical inhibitor to your system to stop the oxide building up again. The water in the system is then tested annually usually when the boiler is serviced, to ensure the correct level of inhibitor, and long term protection.
In short, the boiler and system works as it was designed to, reducing system breakdowns and gas consumption.
